Arbor Networks and Cisco Together Again in Fight against DDoS

Cisco and Arbor have worked together literally since our founding in 2000, when Cisco was an early investor in the company. Arbor pioneered the use of Netflow, from Cisco routers, as a means of gaining broad network visibility to help large service providers better manage their traffic and services. When Cisco exited the DDoS mitigation business in 2008, they recommended to their customers that they transition to Arbor, as part of a program we collaborated on and called Clean Pipes 2.0.
